Without Angelina, there never would have been a New Eye album.
As often happens, the instrumental lived with me with no words or melody for the better part of a year or more - before I had a dream that woke something creative in me, and it all poured out in 4 days.
There were things that always bothered me about the final mix, which I was unable to do anything about - because technology has changed so much, I no longer have access to all of the unmolested tracks to work with. Lo and behold, I found a hard drive with some separated tracks, and I found the original MIDI files as well - so I set about to “restore” it as best I could, given the wonderful technology available to me now. It sounds a bunch better than the original recording, while preserving all that mattered about it.
