about

Listener reviews:

“Evokes memories of the joy of the days when you brought an LP home in your sticky little hands, slid it out of the sleeve and put it on the turntable.
Wonderful stuff.”

“There are no fillers here at all – just well written and produced tracks that won’t fail to impress anybody who loves great music.”

Quite unlike any other MM album, but as varied as they come - Let It Go features 7 new MM songs and 2 vintage covers.

Into Each Life

This album is dedicated to Sal Caltabiano, who was the first person to ever invite me into a studio to record. My life and music are what they are because of your belief in a young nobody, and I will be forever grateful for every moment we shared. Rest in peace.

And to Adam Schlesinger, whose writing never ceases to inspire me. You were taken from us way before your time.

To my sons Sky and Julian... you are both so very gentle, intelligent and beautiful, and give me hope that a different world is possible.

And lastly, to those all through my universe - personal, musical, local and virtual... you know who you are, and I hope you also know how dear you are to me. I'm grateful for your just being.

All songs Copyright 2020 by Mark Marshall, except:

about

Mark Marshall Kingston, New York

Like the other areas of Mark’s life, the music he makes is chameleon-like: wildly diverse, meticulously crafted songs that range from radio-ready pop to hard rock, piano-driven ballads to soundtrack-ish instrumentals, futuristic funk-jazz to clubby techno dance.

“I just want people to feel something when they hear my music...To get as much joy and emotion from it as I felt when I was making it.”
